The very top photograph is to die for. I’m just loving everything about it. It’s got a very dreamy softness to the background while separating the subjects perfectly. Sorry for getting all technical but there just is no other way to describe it. Well I could just say: “Phenomenal”
Technical is just fine.
And Phenomenal is just as good. These two little girls were so sweet and easy to work with. Their mother was sure I wouldn’t get a decent shot of either of them, much less one of them together (so I took that as a challenge).
Of course the mom and grandmother were thrilled and they used this image for their Christmas card that year. But this is the way I like them. Outside, in the natural light and in their natural state. And the warm colors in nature that bring out the color in people’s skin. Can you tell that this is one of my favorite images as well.
